PROLIGHTS supplied the lighting system for the new Tor Vergata Bridge in Rome, the main structure of a recent infrastructure upgrade featuring an 83-metre span. The bridge, realised as part of the Jubilee works, connects the VI and VII districts of the city and contributes to the redevelopment of the Tor Vergata Sports City area, improving local traffic flow and access to nearby facilities.

At night, the bridge becomes a luminous landmark: the clean, uniform wash created by PROLIGHTS fixtures enhances its architectural lines and brings the structure to life with striking visual impact.

The lighting installation includes 32 ArcPod 15QC5M and 14 ArcPod 27Q fixtures, all equipped with 10° optics. The ArcPod 15QC5M units were used to illuminate the lower and outer sections of the span, while the ArcPod 27Q fixtures were selected for the central portion, which required greater vertical coverage due to its height.

Both models are IP66-rated LED wash lights designed for outdoor architectural applications. The ArcPod 15QC5M, featuring 15x10W LEDs, delivers over 5,900 lumens in a compact, fanless housing. Its slim profile and range of optics make it ideal for precise architectural accents or integration into larger lighting systems.

The ArcPod 27Q offers higher output with 27x10W LEDs and a luminous flux of 23,751 lumens. It includes 3-section LED control for enhanced flexibility and uniformity, and its fanless, slim design ensures quiet operation and seamless integration in large-scale installations.
