Now in its 27th edition, KONGRESSI meetings & events, one of Finland's leading b2b events for the meetings and events industry, brought together the key buyers, professionals and service providers of the sector at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

A central role in the event's lighting was played by the PROLIGHTS Astra Profile500LTIP LED moving head profile spotlights, selected by Capital AV and supplied by Gobo Oy, the official PROLIGHTS distributor in Finland.

The choice of the Astra Profile500LTIP came at the end of a rigorous selection process. "After a comprehensive comparison of fixtures from six different manufacturers, the Prolights Astra Profile500LTIP stood out as the strongest overall performer," said visual designer Max Lapinsuo-Sylwén. "It impressed us with its speed, output, color quality, and the versatility of its effects package, particularly the gobo selection. In addition to delivering one of the most powerful outputs in its class, the fixture offers excellent light quality in a compact and lightweight form factor, which was an important consideration for our productions."

PROLIGHTS' consolidated reputation in the international community had already shaped the decision. "We had also consistently heard positive feedback about Prolights' light quality from operators and lighting designers internationally. As this was our first investment in Prolights, that reputation gave us the confidence to trust that the fixture would meet our expectations," Lapinsuo-Sylwén noted.

On the production floor, the fixture confirmed those expectations: according to Lapinsuo-Sylwén, the ability to combine multiple features, such as gobos, animation wheel, prism, and soft focus, while still maintaining strong output proved particularly impressive. The satisfaction of the Capital AV team opens the door to continued use of the fixtures, which Lapinsuo-Sylwén already sees as a reliable tool across the company's future productions, in both indoor and outdoor environments.
