The Sunblast FLX is a high-performance, IP65-rated LED fixture that combines both strobe and washlight  capabilities for versatile applications. Its hybrid design includes a central linear white LED beam that replicates the traditional xenon-bulb filament of classic strobes, alongside RGB+Warm White LED plate that provide intense washlight with superior color rendering, powered by Spektra OS.

With advanced pixel mapping, the Sunblast FLX offers precise control over 28 individual pixels - 12 for the white LED strip and 16 for the RGB+WW panel - enabling dynamic effects and creative flexibility. With a peak power output of 1200W when strobing and 400W for continuous floodlighting, it's engineered to deliver exceptional brightness.

Designed for easy, tool-free assembly, the Sunblast FLX features a modular rigging system that supports both vertical and horizontal configurations in clusters. Its rugged IP65 rating ensures dependable performance in outdoor environments, making it an ideal solution for festivals, events, and temporary architectural lighting. Equipped with both wired (sACN and Art-Net) and wireless (CRMX) control options, it integrates seamlessly into any lighting system.

Notes: 
  • Firmware updates require the UPBOXPRO compatible with all Prolights products
  • It's possible to use UPBOX1 and UPBOX2 *DISCONTINUED* checking the compatibility in the below tab
  • UpBox_Tool  software is compatible with all UPBOX interfaces
  • To update NET boards with .EHEX files a network cable and Professional Uploader software it's needed. It's possible to follow this guide

Improvements:

  • Set the following Led Frequency on the firmware (settable via Advanced/Leed Frequency menu or via Control Ch):
    • 1000Hz = Control Ch 64-65 dmx value
    • 2000HZ = Control Ch 66-67 dmx value
    • 4000HZ = Control Ch 68-69 dmx value
    • 6000HZ = Control Ch 70-71 dmx value
    • 10000Hz = Control Ch 72-73 dmx value

  • Changed the DMX "Strobe" mode. Now the order of the DMX channels is as follows:
    • 1 - DIMMER
    • 2 - STROBE
    • 3 - STROBE DURATION
    • 4 - STROBE RATE
    • 5 - PLATE DIMMER
    • 6 - BEAM DIMMER
    • 7 - COLOR MACRO
    • 8 - CONTROL CHANNEL
  • Renamed "CRMX ON/OFF" Manufacturer PID [0x8310] to "Wireless" (0:ON ; 1:OFF) to enable/disable the wireless module.
  • Improved Plate and Beam dimmer management.
  • Improved "DMX Fault" management.
  • Improve graphics settings.

Fixed Bugs:
  • After a Factory Reload, Led Frequency does not work correctly: it is necessary to set first 1000Hz and then 25kHz for the device to work correctly.
  • Eliminated green shift at low Dimmer dmx values ​​when setting CCT@5600K and Led Led Frequency@25kHz.
  • CCT channel follows Master Dimmer instead of Plate Dimmer.
  • Setting Crossfade to Pixel Engine@100%, Beam Pixels turn off. Now, they only obey the Beam Dimmer and do not turn off if you set Crossfade To Pixel Engine@100% (they are therefore unrelated to the Plate Pixel control).
  • Master strobe does not work if Xfade to PIxel Engine@255 dmx value, so if you are controlling pixels.
  • Some effects are not symmetrical.
  • Dimmer End "Fade OFF" and "Snap OFF" do not work: the fixture always switches off in snap.
NOTES: 
  • To perform a correct firmware update, please download and use the "Upbox_Tool" V1.1.3 software here: https://prolights.it/it/product/UPBOXPRO
  • If you want to use the fixture via sACN/ArtNet, after changing the default IP address a reboot is necessary to store it correctly on the device.
  • DMX Address "Follow Fixture" does not work. Please set the Pixel Plate address manually considering that single Pixel Plate channels will have to start after Main+Beam Pixel channels.
