PROLIGHTS Takes Centre Stage at LightNeq Session 2026 in Prague

This year's LightNeq Session, the three-day professional event for the technical production industry held in Běchovice, Prague, set a new attendance record, bringing together more than 160 specialists from rental companies, theatres, television studios and production companies. The event was organised and hosted by LightNeq, PROLIGHTS' official distributor in the Czech Republic. Conceived as a comprehensive technology session combining lighting and sound, it saw PROLIGHTS fixtures deployed across the entire venue and throughout every phase of the programme. Participants had the opportunity to observe and try out the technology in conditions close to real-life operation at live events, shows, and performances.

The Astra family formed the core of the moving head selection, covering the full spectrum of professional requirements. Participants were able to evaluate the Astra Profile900, Astra Profile900HQ and the IP-rated Astra Profile600IP and Astra Profile1200IP for key light and framing applications, while the Astra Hybrid260IP and Astra Hybrid330IP hybrid LED moving heads allowed them to experience tight aerial beams and wide spot projection within a single unit. The Astra Wash7PixIP, Astra Wash19Pix and Astra Wash37Pix gave attendees direct hands-on experience with pixel-level control applied to colour and effects work. The Astra Blade100IP, a motorised 100cm LED bar with pixel control and tilt, completed the selection with a linear fixture capable of both narrow curtain effects and wide wash projection.

Softlights, profile spotlights and cyclorama fixtures gave participants a hands-on look at studio, theatre and broadcast applications. The EclPanel TWC series and the EclFresnel CT+ (S, M and L) Fresnels covered soft light scenarios, while the EclProfile CT+ addressed key and fill light needs and the EclPar family and both EclCyclorama 050 and EclCyclorama 100 completed the static selection.

The HaluPix Duo and the HaluStrip Duo gave participants direct hands-on experience with high-output pixel and beam performance, while the Smart BatWash demonstrated cable-free flexibility across different setups. Wireless signal distribution was handled by the PROLIGHTS WiFi TX/RX system, with the EdgeGo portable lighting console completing the control setup.

Over three days, participants evaluated light output, colour quality, consistency and operational ergonomics across multiple configurations, with the opportunity to compare assessments directly with colleagues from different industry segments.

The breadth of the portfolio, the strength of the performances, and the operational reliability have reaffirmed the excellence of PROLIGHTS solutions. According to LightNeq, this success has already translated into new rental agreements and strategic partnerships for numerous future productions.
