The Great Hall of the Historic Town Hall in Košice has undergone a major lighting modernization, featuring PROLIGHTS products. The project, overseen by Showmedia, the official PROLIGHTS distributor in Slovakia, aimed to enhance the quality of lighting for cultural and social events, while fully respecting the architectural and historical requirements of the space.

The installation consists entirely of PROLIGHTS lighting solutions. For front stage lighting, 10 EclProfile CT+ units were installed on the balcony, providing precise and uniform illumination, thanks to the use of high-quality optics for optimal beam control.

The rear lighting was enhanced with 6 EclFresnel TW units, while the upper truss was equipped with 4 EclFresnel VW, ensuring even coverage from above. Additionally, two EclFresnel TW units, paired with 6 EclFresnel VW, were positioned on the side trusses to provide optimal side lighting.

For dynamic stage lighting, two Astra Hybrid330 moving heads were installed at the rear of the stage. The backdrop was illuminated with 4 EclCyclorama 100 units, delivering a wide color spectrum and enhanced scenic depth.

The Showmedia team stated: "The new lighting system has significantly improved the quality of illumination in the Great Hall, ensuring high performance standards for events of all kinds, while preserving the historical and architectural integrity of the venue."
