Firmware update instructions

1 Download the firmware (complete download is available on Customer Care - contact support@prolights.it for more info)

2 Download the updater software UpBox_Tool 

3 Follow the instructions in the following guide

Additional info:
  • Firmware updates require the UPBOXPRO compatible with all Prolights products
  • It's possible to use UPBOX1 and UPBOX2 *DISCONTINUED* checking the compatibility in the below tab
  • UpBox_Tool  software is compatible with all interfaces (UPBOXPRO, UPBOX1 and UPBOX2)
  • It's possible to update NET boards (with .EHEX files) following this guide with software Professional Uploader

  • Improved RDM compliance
  • The following Manufacturer PIDs have been changed:
    • DMX PERSONALITY (0x00E0), DMX PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION (0x00E1), IDENTIFY (0x8317) = Deleted
    • TX Link [0x8214] = 0:No Function , 1:Link . This PID is used to perform TX linking.
    • TX Unlink [0x8347] = 0:No Function , 1:Unlink. This PID is used to unlink the Aetherboxlite transmitter from the receiver.
    • RX Reset [0x8215] = 0:No Function , 1:RX Reset. This PID is used to perform an RX Reset on the device.
    • TX RF Output Power [0x8318] = 0:5 mW , 1: 15 mW , 2: 40 mW , 3: 100 mW. This PID is used to change the output power (as in CRMXTOOLBOX app).
  • Improved compatibility with CRMXTOOLBOX app.
  • Improved RDM management with DMXCat.
Fixed Bug:
  • RDM Downstream doesn't work properly. Now, however, it is possible to discover RX devices connected to Aetherbox (when TX@CRMX) via RDM and make settings on it.
